blogcfm on CFMX 7 doesn't work
Posted Thursday, June 14, 2007 at {ts '2013-05-18 17:27:00'}

I installed blogcfm on a linux devel server running CF 6.1 and it was a quick and trouble free install.

However when I tried to install on a linux devel server running 7.0 set up wouldn't complete, I had to set it up manually in the DB.

Then to get log in, lost email and posting functions to work, I had to re-write the blogcfm.cfc file, removing all the <CFQUERY PARAMS... and replacing with raw form values, for these functions.

If this is required to get the rest of the blog to function, I don't know if I'd want to use it on a server available to the Internet because of security concerns.

Has any one got this to install on CFMX 7.0?

Servers are Gentoo Linux with current updates.

Thanks
Westfork

Sure, I'm running CFMX7

www.blogcfm.org runs on CFMX 7 on Linux =)

Then I wonder what's going on...

By replacing all of the <cfqueryparams, I was able to get everything to function, except comments.

click on a comment link to an entry, and the very first redirect fires -
<cfif getEntry.errorCode gt 0 or getEntry.entryInfo.recordCount is 0>

both values output to "0", enven though there are entries.
