"This image cannot be displayed, because it ..."

Hello -

I recently updated CFFM from 1.15 to 1.16. The reason being is I would receive CF errors that the image I was uploading was unsupported even though it was a .jpg image.

When adding the new files, I have modified:
cffm_image.cfm
cffm.cfm
upload.cfm

to change the "custom" includeDir to "uploads" and changed the includeDirWeb to the full URL for the image.

Version 1.15 displayed the image well in FCKEditor. With v1.16, the image shows up as broken although the path to the image is correct. When I browse directly to the image, I encounter the message:

The image (image URL) cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

What might I be missing from doing the update?

Thank you,
aparker81

can you show me an example of the (image url) part of that message?

That doesn't sound like a message that's generated by CFFM.

The image url was not the issue. I realized that the image was CMYK and not RGB. Once I converted the image to RGB, all went well.

Also, thank you for the quick response. Your tool hs helped me tremendously. I've only worked with CF for 1 year and CFFM has helped me with our blog which uses FCKEditor.

Thanks again.

Good to hear!

Yeah the reason I asked for the image URL was because I wanted to make sure that CFFM wasn't generating the error message... =)

If you actually tried to manipulate the image within CFFM 1.16, you'd probably get a very friendly error message that mentions "RGB PNG or CMYK JPEG"
